Mr. + Mrs. Diehl | Lake Jackson Wedding Photographer

This past August, I had the joy of photographing Billy and Kassie's backyard DIY wedding at Lake Jackson.  They turned this into a family weekend and stayed at these gorgeous homes on the water to keep the party going all weekend long.  I'm so glad I was able to celebrate with them!

How did you two meet?

We met at the restaurant we both worked at called The Mad Italian.  I went to teach in China and he followed me there!

How did he propose?

New Orleans, my fav city!  Near the river walk on the coldest night ever! Then we celebrated with drinks and oysters!

Hickory + Asheville, North Carolina | Personal

I love getting to travel and go see good friends.  A couple of weekends ago, I went to North Carolina to visit my friend and former roommate, Caitlin.  I got to see the small town she lives in and we trekked over to Asheville to go the Biltmore.  I had so much fun even though it was a quick weekend.  I brought along one of my film cameras just for fun and shot through a roll of Portra 160.  Here's a few little moments from our trip!

First, Caitlin toured me around Hickory and I got to see some of her favorite spots including a cute little downtown area and lake hickory.

At Cailtin's apartment... it's all so very Caitlin.  I love it :)

Then we headed over to the Biltmore or Downton Abbey as I like to call it.
