For an early Father's day this summer, we took my Dad to the PDK Good Neighbor Day Airshow. It happened to fall on my one open June Saturday, which was perfect! My Dad loves planes. Actually, the first time I ever flew in a plane as a kid, my Dad was flying it. It was a little tiny plane and I remember him getting his pilot's license and taking us up. Touch downs were my favorite because it felt like a rollercoaster. Maybe this is one of the reasons I like airports and flying to new places so much. Next week, I'll actually be flying out to Washington DC for a workshop! I think it's important for those in the creative industry to also invest in professional education to continue learning so I'll be heading to the Jeremy Chou workshop for a couple days and can't wait to share more about that with you later!
I'd never been to the airshow here before, but it was awesome and also terrifying. I brought my camera along and hope you enjoy seeing a few photos from the day!
