As you may know, adoptions are expensive - on average $35,000. This doesn't take into account the tens of thousands already spent on fertilization treatments.
This is where you and I come in... this fall I'll be hosting one day of mini sessions specifically for the Davis family! All of the profits from that day will go straight to the adoption. Details are below:
I love adoption stories. I've been thankful to know various friends who either work in the social work field with adoption agencies, have adopted children, or have been adopted themselves. It's a sweet story and a reflection of Christ's adoption of us as sons and daughters making us heirs to his kingdom.
I've known Ivey since I was in 6th grade. We used to walk over to the high school where our moms worked from the middle school together every day. When I arrived at UGA in the fall of 2007, she took me in and I pledged the same sorority - AXO - and she even became my "grandbig". Later in post grad, we had the pleasure of being coworkers - both of us teaching high school Spanish in Locust Grove. I have an incredible amount of respect for this lady and her husband, Jordan and can't wait to see them become parents after trying on their own for several years.

"But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, 'Abba! Father!' So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God." - Galatians 4:4-7
